Ways to pay rent
Please Note - Paying a manager or via mail with cash or check is not an option for paying rent, nor is paying Mr. Potts (the previous owner). Only these three options will be accepted moving forward.
There are three options for existing residents to pay their rent.
Option 1 - Online via ACH
You may pay your rent by sign-in to your Rentec Direct account and paying online via ACH with a bank account. There is no processing fee if you choose to pay via ACH.
Option 2 - Online via credit card
You also have the option to pay your rent with a credit card via Rentec Direct. There is a 2.95% (charged by the vendor) processing fee if you choose to pay via credit card.
Option 3 - Cash payment via PayNearMe
Following the below steps to enable cash payment:
Log into your Rentec Direct tenant Portal online or use the Rentec Direct Resident Connect SmartPhone app.
Click the Payments Tab in your Tenant Portal and click the Pay With Cash button. Location look up available at the top of the page but for quick reference, you can pay at CVS, Casey’s, Walmart, 7-Eleven, and more.
Choose to: print the payslip or send it to your phone
Take the slip or your phone to a convenient cash payment location to pay
There is a $3.99 processing fee if you choose this option (charged by the vendor).
